We can only accept online orders shipping to the following states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon,Wisconsin, and West Virginia. Due to direct shipping laws and regulations, we are unable to process online orders to those states not listed above. Due to direct shipping laws and regulations, we are unable to process online orders for wine to those states not listed above. All wines are sold in Idaho and title passes to the buyer in Idaho. We make no representation as to the rights of anyone to import wine into any state outside of Idaho. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order.
Shipping & Weather
Extreme weather conditions can affect your wine. High temperatures may cause your wine to leak or extreme cold can freeze your wine during shipment. WineEsquire is not responsible for, and will not replace, wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions. By placing an online order you are accepting the responsibility for that shipment through whatever weather conditions may occur during that shipment.
Legal Age
WINES MAY BE SOLD AND DELIVERED ONLY TO A PERSON WHO IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. IN PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THE PERSON TO WHOM THE WINE WILL BE DELIVERED TO IS ALSO 21 YEARS OLD. At the time of delivery, all shipments containing alcohol require the signature of an adult who must show identification proving he or she is at least 21 years old.
Shipping to a BUSINESS ADDRESS is strongly recommended, since an adult signature is required at time of delivery.
Notes About Inventory
Although the online inventory is always being maintained and updated, there are certain situations that may occur that are out of our control. Given the high volume nature of our business and the finite availability of some wines, please be aware that without notice there may be a vintage change or an out-of-stock situation with any of the wines that you order. Should that happen we would notify you by e-mail before your order is processed.
Your Online Order Is Placed
It is our goal to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Most orders will be processed within 24-48 hours of being placed. There are several factors that contribute to when you will receive your order once it has been placed.
The timing in which your order is processed is determined by the accuracy of the information provided on the order, when the order is placed, order volume, and stock availability.
It is imperative that all information included on the order is complete and accurate. Incomplete or inaccurate billing or shipping information on orders will result in a delay in processing and additional shipping charges.
Since wine is vulnerable to extremes in temperature, and we have no control of the conditions of a carriers warehousing facility, the day in which your order is processed may affect when you receive it. Orders placed in the later part of the week will be held until the beginning of the following week. WE ONLY SHIP ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. If you want something other than ground you MUST call us to work through the details.
If your order includes an item that is temporarily out-of-stock, but due to arrive within a few days, it will be delayed in an effort to ship the complete order. In that event we will attempt to notify you by e-mail or phone call of the delay.
