Tim is a 20 year veteran in law enforcement and has spent the past 5 years assigned to Search & Rescue as a Deputy Sheriff for the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Reno, NV. He is one of two full time SAR staff officers, serving primarily as Operations Officer and occasionally as Incident Commander. He currently holds an advanced P.O.S.T. certificate and an advanced SAR certificate in the State of Nevada. Tim has certifications in the MLPI, MLSO, Inland SAR, ICS and WMD Incident Command courses. Tim is an avid hunter and developed his interest in tracking as a result of his exploits. He is currently a Nevada State Certified Tracker Instructor. Tim's other certifications include divemaster, rangemaster/armorer, crime scene investigator, and field training officer.
