Christmas Basket and Toy Drive Information

During the Christmas holidays the Society of Samaritans, with the help of the community, collects, prepares and delivers baskets containing food and other basic necessities to those in need, along with toys that are collected for the children.  This annual project gives those in need the ability to enjoy this holiday season.

There are many ways in which volunteers may help.  You may choose to adopt an entire family, or collect toys, food and other donations for us, help with wrapping gifts,  repair the old bicycles that are donated, or donate Christmas tree's for those who may not have one.  We also need help once donations are in, filling the baskets for each family and in some cases distributing them in person.

In 2008, a total of over 500 families received Christmas Baskets and 1700 children received TOYS!!!

This opportunity is one that not only blesses those who receive these much appreciated donations but touches the lives of those who volunteer as they see their time and talents being used in such a way to help so many.  If you would like to help with this project, please click on the Volunteer Form button to your left or Click Here.

Without the help of our Community the hundreds of people reached during this time would not be possible.  Thank you in advance for your help and prayers during our Annual Christmas Drive.
