Question - What are the shelves made of?
Answer - Shelf Expressions shelves are made of solid Radiata and Ponderosa pine.

Question - What are the different finishes I can get my shelves in?
Answer - You have the option of Unfinished, Clear Sealer, Honey Oak, or Whitewash finishes.

Question -  What is the quality of the shelves?
Answer - We only use the finest wood of the highest quality.
The wood is finished until it reaches a smooth surface.
All of our shelves are thoroughly inspected prior to shipping.

Question - What are the weight limits of the shelves?
Answer - The results from Shelf Expressions strength test showed that
the wall mounted shelves such as the Library Annex  Closet Annex
held a load up to 80 lbs per shelf. The WALLready  WALLdecor
shelves held a weight of 40 lbs. The freestanding shelving units
carried over 120 lbs per shelf. These numbers are extreme and  
 we don't recommend you load the shelves to their limits.

Question - How long does it take before I get my order?
Answer - Since each order is "custom made" from our inventory

of unfinished panels,normal lead times until shipping range from 4 to 10 days.

Question - What is your return policy?
Answer - Any Shelf Expressions product in new condition can
be returned to us within 30 days for a refund.
This is subject to a return authorization number.
A partial refund is given if the product is in *less than
new condition*. Return shipping charges are paid only if
the wrong product is received or product is damaged.

Question - Is there any sales tax?
Answer - No, there is no sales tax in the state of Oregon where our
company is located.

Question - What if I live in Hawaii or Alaska or I have an APO address?
Answer - We do ship to Hawaii  Alaska. We use USPS for either of these states. You
can request USPS Priority mail if you wish to receive your item sooner.
However, you do need to call us toll free on 1-888-420-3924 to get a correct amount
on shipping. We do ship to APO address's. However you do need to contact us
by email shelfexpressions@aol.com or call our toll free number for a correct shipping amount.

Question - What is a Top Shelf?
Answer - A top shelf comes with the 13"  17" deep Closet Annex,
but is also available for the 22"W, 26"W, and 36"W System Modules. It is attached on
top of the shelving unit and comes with a shelf insert like our regular shelves. A top
shelf can be purchased separately and comes with pre-drilled holes for the pegs
for mounting it to the system.

Question - What is a Tray Shelf?
Answer - A tray shelf comes with the 17" deep Closet Annex, but is also
available for the 22" wide System Module. This shelf is 17" deep
compared to the regular shelves which are 12" deep. Tray shelves
are commonly used for storing items that require more space such as VCR's,
DVD players, TV's or printers. Besides putting a tray shelf inside a 22" wide
System Module, it can also be put in between two shelving units to interconnect them.

Question - Can I purchase additional shelves?
Answer - Of course you can! Please do note sizes though. If you are going to be
putting these extra shelves inside a shelving module or adding on to a
WALLready shelving kit etc. you want your shelves to fit!

Question - How do I mount my shelves to the wall?
Answer - All our wall-mounted shelving systems come with pre-drilled holes,
screws, and hole covers. We recommend that you mount the shelves into wall studs or
onto a solid wall. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver or a drill bit.
