Congratulations on the publication of your book dear mamma. I love it. It puts so much vital information in one easy to read book.
The letter Dawn Rockey titled, "taking the reins" would make an excellent hand-out for every new mother. The chapters on vaccination, circumcision, breastfeeding, birth control, staying home and co-sleeping, all with numerous quotes from professionals, are especially important for new moms who may have never heard that there were issues related to these subjects that should be considered.
The only thing wrong with your book is that it's 40 years too late. I wish I had read it when I was pregnant with our first child instead of having to learn these concepts over the years as we had our family. To my lasting regret I learned some of them too late.

Because of the good sound advice this book gives to new mothers, I only wish it would have been available when I gave birth to my son 33 years ago. From labor, delivery, and bringing baby home, this book provides an easy educational, no-nonsense tool for new parents. Kudos to you for sharing your own birthing story and presenting it as a wonderful event rather than something to fear. I particularly liked the quotes from the bible and George Bernard Shaw interspersed throughout the chapters. It helps the reader to "connect the dots" and to understand the miracle of life. I look forward to reading your upcoming books and will pass this on to other young mothers who, like myself 33 years ago, had many questions about baby and the wonder of it all!"
