Naval Intelligence Foundation Scholarships



ANNOUNCING THE NAVAL INTELLIGENCE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR

ACADEMIC YEAR 2007-2008

NIF is pleased to award four $1000 scholarships for the 2007-2008 academic year: the Vice Admiral Donald D. Engen scholarship, the
Captain Anthony D.Sesow scholarship, the Captain Richard W. Bates scholarship, and the Commander Dan F. Shanower scholarship. Applicants
must be eligible for college entrance in the Class of 2011 or be enrolled as a full time student in an undergraduate college program.
This year the eligibility for a $1000 award has been expanded to include active duty enlisted personnel (Intelligence Specialists) enrolled as either a full time (over 12 credit hours) student and for a $500 award if enrolled as a part time student in an accredited Associate or Bachelor degree program.

Selection will be based on academic achievement (Grade Point Average),SAT or ACT scores, extra curricular activities, and career objectives.
These criteria indicate past and potential academic performance and career goals consistent with the NIF charter. Scholarships will be
awarded to the best qualified applicants drawn from the three categories described above.
