    This site shows the career-long leadership education and training opportunities available to government employees from the Federal Executive Institute and Management Development Center.




    American Society of Public Administration
    This site of the American Society of Public Administration offers a wide range of resources for "public managers" but, most especially a section devoted to ethics containing the society's "Code of Ethics" and access to writings on ethics.




    Government Leaders
    This site provides tools and tips, free articles and a newsletter, plus information on training and executive development for government leaders and managers.  It also has links to other books and magazines for government leaders and managers.




    Center for Army Leadership
    The Center for Army Leadership is part of the Army Combat Arms Center at Ft. Leavenworth. 




    Army Company Command
    A site for junior Army Leaders.




    Naval Education and Training Command
    This site is disappointing with respect to leadership.




    U.S. Coast Guard Leadership
    This site provides access to a variety of USCG leadership programs and materials, but not all. Going to the Coast Guard home page (www.uscg.mil) and typing "leadership" in the search box will provide access to a number of other materials such as the CG professional library, the CG Leadership and Quality Institute programs and courses and a number of downloadable articles. 




    International Symposium for Military Ethics
    This site maintains the papers from the papers presented at the annual Joint Services Conference on Professional Ethics (JSCOPE).




    Big Dog's Leadership Page

    On this site a former Army E7 provides a free 17 chapter "leadership guide" for new supervisors, managers and leaders.  The Appendices also provide access to a wealth of other leadership materials.  There also is a leadership "shareware" package for starting a leadership development program which can be inspected for 30 days before purchasing. 





    The Center for Creative Leadership

    This organization is one of the most influential leadership educational organizations and numerous senior retired military officers have been associated with it. It provides organizational assessment tools.





    Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership
    Servant Leadership first advocated by Robert K. Greenleaf is now being emphasized by some military commanders as the best method of leading the new generation of military personnel.  This site provides a good list of leadership books for sale.




    DePree Leadership Center
    Look for the Public Policy Institute.




    Leader to Leader Institute
    The Leader to Leader Institute maintained by the Peter F. Drucker Foundation supports books and a magazine called Leader to Leader contain contributions by noted Leadership authorities on a variety of topicsChapters from the book and articles from the magazine are available on-line. The Foundation produces leadership guides covering various topics.




    Emotional Intelligence Consortium
    Provides detailed materials on EQ.




    Harvard, Kennedy School, Center for Public Leadership




    Ethics Updates
    This site is maintained by a Professor at the University of San Diego for instructors and students of ethics.  It provides materials, discussion fora, and case studies on a wide variety of ethical topics.
