The inauguration of the UK Branch of the Old Students Association was formally held in August 2002 at the residence of Mr Kwame Agyare. It was meticulously organised with Mrs Agyare making sure that the barbeque, food and drinks was flowing to the total admiration of all who attended the occasion. A lavish party it was. In attendance were wives, girlfriends and children of old boys to grace the occasion.

Old Boy Clifford Addo popularly known as Chatee, a pioneer, gave a brief history of the school lighting the party up with names of various head teachers, house masters, teachers and definitely nick names of loads of students which brought memories of those good old days we all spent in Sechtech.

To carry the association forward an executive body was elected:
Mr Albert Djanmah (Secretary)
Mr Charles Quist(Ass. Sec.) and
Mr Kwame Agyare( PRO ).

The most difficult part of the party was parting from one another. The pain was however tempered by the fact that various meetings will be held in the course of the year.
