SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL'S (SRC) REPORT
SRC
For truth, for purpose. Yes as the slogan goes, so was what we proposed during our term of office. The mantle was
handed over to us at a time when things were getting tough but we came with the aim "Never to bow, but to conquer".
There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend. With the help of our patron, Mr. Samuel Batarima,
we were able to achieve our aims.
By emancipation of students through a philosophy of non-violence, we have been able to create a very condusive and cordial
relationship between the administration and the student body. With the cooperation of our Headmaster, Mr. J.K. Bempong, life in school
is now rosy since students don't have much to complain about.
Theft cases in the school have totally decreased, dust bins have been placed at vantage points to keep the school compound clean.
Teachers are punctual to classes, the menu is very palatable, visitors' lounge and more lovers benches have been provided to enable
students entertain their visitors well. Indeed everything in the school now satisfies the whims of everyone. Democracy of the school
has also reached it's peak since all the students now participate in decision making process. A student D.C. has also been formed
to check conflicts among students and the school's leadership.
There are times that the relationship between the students and the prefects become strained but the SRC is always there to straighten things out.
Two of our members, Richard Novenyo and George Asamoah-Boadu were elected as trustees for our zone (zone one) and secretary for the
zone respectively.
All these were acheived by putting our trust in God and we are very grateful. It is our desire and prayer that our successors will
continue and even do more and live up to expectation.
Long live SRC Long live Koforidua Secondary Technical School.
