SENIOR CLASS PREFECTS' REPORT

I f one wants the nuptial union to last then virtue must always be the bond that holds it fast. We thank the most high God for making our term of office a spectacular. When we took over this position we thought it was a mere thing but we must confess that it has not been easy going about our duties as the Senior Class Prefects.

Our area of operation is to coordinate all academic activities on campus, some of which are the attendance of students in class, cleanliness in all the thirty four classrooms and general discipline on campus. We thought we were going to face hurdles during our term of office because after we were ushered into office, we often had problems with our mates all because they were not finding it easy going by our policies. Now we can point at our achievements, this was made possible with the help of our indefatigable Assistant Headmasters, Hon. Appiah Nyantakyi (Academic) and Hon. Kwesi Asman (Admin), we say "Bravo and Ayikoo".

During our tenure of office, we faced a major problem of missing our morning lessons. We also had some problems with some recalcitrant students among us and even in the course of discharging our duties some masters recognized us as people who stand for total discipline "YES" we are.

Since there is nothing like maintenance prefect, we had to sometimes leave our class to help the electrician fix the tubes and check the lightening system in the classrooms. But I believe in the near future this position will be created so that tight schedules of the senior class prefect will reduce. As the saying goes, "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown", if this is anything to go by then I must say it has not been easy.

Our appreciation once again goes to the junior students who contributed effectively to this success especially Lord Andoh. There is a saying in Akan which goes, "Nnimpa beye bi na mmom, wamma ammeye ne nyinaa". On our part we have delivered our best and to those who will come after us, we say good luck and "Akwaaba".

Mmarima Mma, never forget your bok but rather let the sky be the limit, for the formidable future of Koforidua Sectech does not lie on the choulders of it's administators but its people.
