Short Address By Mr. Richard Pratt During The Presentation.
Headmaster, Staff members, Students, Mmarimamma.
I am delighted to be back once again to the "Abusua Kesse" fraternity.
I warmly extend special greetings from the Old Boys Association of Canada.
It is with great joy to remind ourselves of the great times we had in the field of Games and Sports in Sectech.
Reports reaching us in Canada and elsewhere indicate that the torch which was lighted many years ago is still
burning and glowing.Thanks to you and keep it up. It is however our hope and prayer that, more enthusiastic
and talented students will join the already moving wagon to uplift the image of Games and Sports in our great
school, Sectech.
Permit me to mention but a few of the many excellent products of this school who are currently enjoying
international and national honors in the Sports World.
John Myles Mills, Ghanaian International Sprinter in U.S.A.
Nana Yaw Boateng, Ghana's number one seed in table tennis and two times National ECRAG
Award Winner.
Prince Tagoe, Black Stars attacker and now International player in Saudi Arabia.
Geno Torto, National High Jumper
Charity Sarkodie, Black Queens Midfielder
Charity Frimpomaa, National Hockey and Handball, in the Security services
Kwame Mensah, International soccer player in Belgium
Kwame Anim, International soccer player in German Youth team.
We the Old Boys abroad are closely monitoring your academic and sporting performances and very much
appreciate the effort you are putting up in the field of Sports and Games.
We sincerely express our gratitude to the Headmaster and the school Authorities, the Technical
Personnel in PE/Sports Dept., Vibrant Sports Committee and the entire students for the wonderful
work you are all doing.
On behalf of the Old Boys Asocciation (Abusua Kesse) in Canada, I wish to present these items valued
Fifty Million cedis to the school for the promotionand development of Sports and Games in the School.

Letter Of Gratitude
This is the contents of a letter sent
to the Canada Branch of Old Boys Association from the Headmaster.
It's been a very good cooperation between the past and present
of Sectech. Keep it up guys!
I, on behalf of the Board of Governors, P.T.A., Staff and Students of the
Koforidua Secondary Technical School would like to express my profound gratitude
to you for the Sporting Equipment presented to us on 28th February, 2006. The
items were presented in good time when we were preparing for the K'dua Zonal
Athletic Competition. The morale gathered contributed in no small way to make our
students placed second and third in the boys' and girls' final competitions
respectively. We hope to be first in the ensuing years.
May I cease this opportunity to hi-light you on some tit-bits about our impeding
40th Anniversary Celebration. Tentatively, the staff has decided on 1st December,
2007, subject to the approval of our "Sons Abroad". We have also set up the
various committees to submit their reports by the close of the term. Our main
target is to generate funds to start the Assembly Hall Complex.
I have enclosed here the Video Clip/CD of the activities that took place
during the Presentation Ceremony for your visual apprehension.I am sure you
will in likewise manner print copies to other friends to also know the good
things you have done for your alma mater.
We are now looking for sponsors and other Guests to assist us. You may write
back to direct us to some areas of help if you have any or assist us in
diverse ways to get the initial capitalto start with.
Once again thanks a lot for your immeasurable contributions towards our
successful and joyous celebrations ahead. May God richly bless you all
in all your endeavors.
