CHIEF PREFECTS' REPORT

M any people are given the chance in life to lead their followers. However some of these people are not able to meet the standard set and as such, at the end of the day, nothing is acheived. When the mantle of leadership was handed over to us, many were the people who thought that our term of office was not going to be successful. But glory be to God who has brought us this far. And as the saying goes "the later shall be better than the former", we proved beyond reasonable doubt that we were in for business.

Discipline beign the key to success was our main target. We ensured that the standard of discipline in the school is improved. The dressing code in school saw a new level as students who did not dress properly were punished. By so doing, all students on campus improved upon their dressing code.

Punctuality to school gathering which was a problem for the authority before our term of office took a new trend. All students who were late to social gathering were properly dealt with. This ensured that students changed their attitude towards social gathering and lateness became a thing in the past.

Through the hard work of the S.R.C. and the prefectorial board, free exeats during some periods of the term was reintroduced. Students were therefore givrn the chance to go on free internal exeat. There was great joy in the school when the senior house master announced this at the assembly.

To crown it all was the successful completion of the visitor lounge which was started by our predecessors was a feather in our cap. The provision of lovers benches around the lounge added to the beauty of the school. Alos with the renovation of the Junior Science Laboratory enhancing the practical aspects of the science students on campus.

Much as we enjoyed this success doesn't mean there was no obstructions in our way. But the fact is we remained united, solved every problem which came our way and moved on. The greatest part of our achievement was based on the unity among the student body and the prefects. It was therefore no suprise that the saying, "united we stand, divided we fall" was justified at the end of the day. All this we were able to do, because we controlled power since power is useless without contrl.

I say a great thank you to, first and foremost, our S.R.C. patron Mr. Samuel Batarima. I also say kudos to our beloved Headmaster and also not forgetting the students who were more cooperative most especially the seniors.
