Available Formats The most popular in-house format for the curriculum “Information for Innovation: Market Research for R&D” is the two-day format. The advantage of the in-house format is that 15-20 members of the same company are trained at one time. They share the same experiences, do team building, work together in break-out sessions; thus, a group of people with the same vocabulary and experience base is formed. The two-day format combines instruction and experiential learning. The CDROM format was developed from the two-day in-house format. It is a self-standing training product which allows individuals to begin to use the techniques immediately. This is an excellent multimedia product. Studio taken video supports the introduction and summary of the curriculum. The body of the curriculum is a Macromedia presentation featuring professional voice-over and carefully designed graphics. The instruction is self-paced with a convenient navigator to allow you to repeat or skip material. You do not need special software to use this product. The CDROM product was developed to allow an individual to be working more effectively within just a week or two; whereas, the time required arranging an in-house seminar and the initial expense can delay training for months. The scope of the CDROM product includes all major points included in the complete seminar. There are also ˝ day and one-day in-house formats. The ˝ day format is an overview and the one-day format covers all topics with some condensing and the break-out sessions are omitted.
