SACRED SHAPES AND SYMBOLS AND CONFIGURATIONS OF CRYSTALS

ANKH – The ankh is a symbol of perfect balance of both masculine and feminine energies. The omega at the top is feminine and the cross at the bottom is masculine. This has been used in many ancient cultures, but is mostly known in the Egyptian culture.

BELL and DORJE – The bell represents the female aspect and stands for wisdom. The Dorje represents the male aspect and destroys ignorance. Together they lead to enlightenment.

CLUSTERS – The cluster represents multi-directional energy so it is wonderful for sitting on an altar or in a room or as a table centerpiece. They enhance peace within a group.

CROSS – The Cross symbolizes sacrifice and salvation. It is a masculine symbol.

CRYSTAL BOWLS – These bowls are made of Quartz and are used for the awakening of the Chakras and other stones. They are attuned to the different notes of the scale.

CRYSTAL POINTS – The single point is a very focused energy. They are great to hold for meditation and prayer.

DOUBLE TERMINATED CRYSTALS – The double-terminated crystal has terminations on both ends. The energy is balanced. One can channel energy in through one point and out the other to amplify the energy that is being channeled for healing on all levels.

EGGS – The egg is the symbol of New Life and New Beginnings. Also, it is the symbol of Fertility. This is also good for meditation.

ELESTIAL CRYSTALS –The Elestial Crystal has natural terminations over the body and face of the crystal. This Crystal is very powerful in working with old emotional stuck stuff. This crystal is formed in clear quartz, smokey quartz, amethyst and citrine. The energy is very fast and is only for the person who is ready for dealing with all their old emotions coming up at once.

ETHERIC WEAVER – The Etheric Weaver is a Metatronic Tool, which is used to balance and align the energies of the Chakras. It is also used as a pendulum.

FACETED STONES – The faceted stones are used to project multidirectional energies. They are used to create a positive charge within the physical body as well as work to protect a positive surrounding.

GENERATOR CRYSTALS – The generator is recognized by a configuration of crystal faces all joining at the top of each crystal face. It is flat at the bottom and usually fairly large. This crystal is great on an altar as it generates a lot of energy from the universe.

HEARTS –Hearts are the symbol of the physical heart and love… Love of others, as well as oneself.

LOTUS – Lotus is a symbol of virginity or purity. It is a feminine symbol.

MASSAGE TOOLS – Massage Tools are made of stones and are used for working acupressure points or for massaging areas that are difficult

OBELISK – An Obelisk is an upright four-sided pillar that terminates in a pyramid. This shape promotes connection with the ancient Egyptian culture. It is also a symbol for the marking of time.

OM (AUM ) –Om is the supreme syllable representing the "mother of all sound" and sound is the Great Goddess’s tool of creation.

OM MANI PADME HUM (Hail the jewel in the lotus) is a six-syllable invocation (Mantra) of Avlokiteswara one who is involved as the Savior and the Protector from danger. One who recites this Mantra will be saved from all dangers and will be protected. This Mantra is inscribed on many things.

PENDULUM – A Pendulum is used to ask questions of spirit. It can be made up of a string or chain and a stone or metal at the bottom.

PENTACLE (5 pointed star) This symbol is used in Wicca because it symbolizes continuous "gateless" protection. It is the sign of the Earth element in the Tarot suit of pentacles.

PHANTOM CRYSTAL – The Phantom Crystal contains another crystal within the crystal and shows like a phantom. This is very powerful as it amplifies the energy within oneself.

PHURBA – Phurba is a "magic dart" used for the ritual slaying of human effigy of foe. This is also used for cutting Karma.

PRAYER WHEEL – A Prayer Wheel is a praying instrument, which always bears the mystical words "Om Mani Padme Hum." When it turns one round it means the mantra on the outside as well as on the inside is read.

TUMBLED CRYSTAL – This is a tumbled-polished stone and can be used for massage. It promotes a free state of mind and the energies would be included in the type of stone that is tumbled.

BLUE LACE AGATE – The energy of the Blue Lace Agate is most useful at the location of the Throat Chakra. This crystal is wonderful for those who need to work on communication and speaking their truth.

AUSTRIAN CRYSTALS – Austrian Crystals are a leaded glass. They are very beneficial for Feng Shui and for reflecting rainbows. We do not personally recommend the Austrian Crystals for wearing on the body because of the lead content, but recommend that they hang in the windows and in places for disbursing energy.

AZURITE – Azurite is known as a "stone of heaven". It allows one to pursue the heavenly self and provides guidance through the Third-Eye Chakra. One can hold a piece of Azurite and literally ask for troublesome thoughts to evaporate.

AZURITE AND MALACHITE – Azurite and Malachite provides the same properties as the individual Stones, as well as assisting one to reach into the inner depths without fear.

BLOODSTONE – Bloodstone is an intense healing stone and a "stone of courage". It is used in the Base, Navel and Heart Chakras. It assists one to accept the change in energy fields and to recognize the beneficial aspects of turmoil prior to perfection. It also shows one to "be here now" and allows one to renew. It also works with the blood.

BOJI STONE – Boji Stones balances and aligns the Chakras and removes energy blockages. The bumpy one is the masculine and the smoother one is the feminine.

BORNITE (Peacock Ore) – Bornite is a "stone of happiness" giving us a message that life is a truly joyful experience. It brings harmony to the cellular structure of the body. It can be used to align the Chakras.

CITRINE Citrine is used to promote comfortable and soothing dreams and to work on mental clarity. It is most useful in the areas of the Solar Plexus Chakra. It is also known as the "Merchant Stone." Tumbled pieces in the cash register are very helpful. Commercial Citrine is orange-brown in color and is heat-treated amethyst. Man has taken very pale amethyst and baked it. It still works as Citrine and is not radiated

COPAL – Copal is a tree resin similar to Amber. It works with the Solar Plexus and the Crown Chakras. It maintains physical consciousness and can be used to remove energy blockages.

CORAL – Coral quiets the emotions and brings peace to the inner self.

DANBURITE – Danburite assists one to "let your light shine" and assists one to get along with others. It is powerful in activating the intellect.

DESERT ROSE (BARITE) – The Desert Rose symbolizes the realization that all things are possible. This is great to use with a clear quartz crystal on the computer and the monitor to dispel radiation.

FUCHSITE – Fuchsite is a mica shist.. The Fuchsite from Brazil is very crumbly and breaks up easily. Since it is very powerful in working with cell rejuvenation, it can be broken up, run through a flour sifter and used in lotions. It can be applied anywhere you want to stimulate cells to grow. The Fuchsite from India is much more stable and can be taped on the body. Both kinds tend to have Ruby, which adds the qualities that can be read about under Ruby.

It produces loving thoughts and loving communication. It produces the feeling of a powerful peace, gently penetrating the inner core of ones being. It connects us to the infinite source of love.

LABRADORITE - Labradorite is known as the stone of transformation. Labradorite is used to eliminate aspects of familiarity which obscures thought and blurs instinct, helping one with originality and precision, and bringing uniqueness without judgment to ones contemplative patterns. It symbolizes the moon and helps one to advance, without constraint, through the cycles of progression, heralding the arrival of ascension. RHODONITE – Rhodonite works with the Heart Chakra. It is a stone of "love" and assists one to achieve their highest potential.

ROSE QUARTZ – Rose Quartz is used to enhance ones ability to create self- love. It works on the level of love and joy and is most useful in the area of the Heart Chakra. One must have self love in order to attract love and to be loved by others.

RUBY – Ruby is very powerful with the First Chakra located just above the pelvic bone. This is great for physical vitality and is known as a "stone of nobility." It lights up the darkness of ones life and encourages one to follow bliss. It will also work with the Heart Chakra.

RUBY CRYSTAL – Ruby crystals are found in India and Madagascar. These crystals do everything the Ruby does and help one to access the spiritual realms.

RUTILATED QUARTZ – Rutilated Quartz has Rutile inside. The Rutile intensifies the power of the crystal. It assists one to get to the root of a problem so that one can remedy the situation.

SAPPHIRE – Sapphire works with the Third-Eye Chakra for intuition and assists one to dispel unwanted negative thoughts and brings great joy to ones being.

SATIN SPAR – Satin Spar is Gypsum in its purest form. It assists one to mold ones character toward the ideals of growth and improvement. It eliminates stagnation. It is powerful in working with bones and teeth. It is considered to be a ""lucky stone""

SELENITE – Selenite is crystallized Gypsum. It is very powerful for the skeletal system and all bones and teeth. It works from the Crown Chakra up. It provides for clarity of mind and expands the awareness of the self and ones surroundings. You can sit another stone on the Selenite and it will cleanse and charge it.

SEREFINITE - (CHLORITE) – Chlorite is one of the most powerful and positive of healing stones. It enhances cooperation and stimulates ones affinity with the "All". It dissipates negative energy and enhances circulation of energy and of the blood.

SERPENTINE – Serpentine works with the rising of the Kundalini. It can be used on all areas of the body.

SIBERIAN QUARTZ – Siberian Quartz comes in many colors, The Blue is the most popular and that would work with the Third Eye Chakra. This is a laboratory grown crystal and they are grown in the same way as the crystals are grown for computer chips, radios and watches. This is a very fast and pure energy. Some people feel that they do not have any Earth energy in them, but the seed from which they are grown is an optically clear natural quartz crystal, which makes them piezoelectric.

SMOKEY QUARTZ – Smokey Quartz works with the Base Chakra. It is a drawing energy, so can be used to pull out negativity or pain. It is also grounding and is very protective.

SMITHSONITE – Smithsonite tends to build the "bridge over troubled waters." It assists with clairvoyance and clairsentience.

SNOWFLAKE OBSIDIAN – Snowflake Obsidian assists one to balance the masculine-feminine (yin and yang) polarity within the body. It also allows one to recognize unnecessary patterns in ones life and assists one to provide relief from those undesired conditions.

SOAPSTONE – (STEATITE) – Soapstone assists one in both movement and widening of ones horizons. It is calming and helps maintain peace at the center of ones being.

SODALITE – Sodalite works with the Third Eye Chakra and eliminates confusion. It is powerful in working with self-esteem, self-trust and trust of others.

STAUROLITE (FAIRY CROSS) – The Staurolite is said to be a crystallized form of tears from fairies that were formed when the fairies heard the news of the death of Christ. It assists with the relief of stress, eliminates depression and addictive personality traits.

SUGILITE – Sugilite is a representation of the spiritual love of "All That Is." It is very powerful at the Third Eye and Crown Chakras.

SULFUR – Sulfur assists one in the removal of negative willfulness. It tends to break down the barriers blocking progress.

SUNSTONE – Sunstone assists with the Solar Plexus Chakra. It works with dissipating fear, alleviates stress and increases vitality.

TANZANITE – Tanzanite works with the Throat, Third Eye and Crown Chakras. Tanzanite is a "stone of Magic" working with personal power. It brings the "will" to the aid of manifestation and enhances both the beginning and the end.

TIGER EYE – Tiger Eye is very powerful for use in the Solar Plexus Chakra where we store mental energy. It helps to soften stubbornness and is used to stimulate and enhance the ability to maintain wealth. It also helps one to adapt to change.

TIGER IRON – Tiger Iron contains Golden Tiger eye, Red Jasper and Hematite. It combines the qualities of these three minerals and also assists in creative endeavors. It also assists one in finding havens of refuge when in danger.

TOPAZ - Topaz is used to promote individuality and creativity. It also replaces negativity with love and joyfulness. The energy of Topaz acts through the laws of attraction and manifestation. It also assists in cutting through the certains of uncertaintity and trepidation. The Topaz stone is used to enhance ones ability to speak their inner truth. Like Quartz, Topaz is Piezoelectric. It works with the Chakras according to color.

TOURMALINE - Tourmaline is used to promote prosperity, status, wealth and treasure. The pink Tourmaline also attracts love and joy and the green Tourmaline attracts prosperity and treasure. This stone is also piezoelectric, along with Clear Quartz and Topaz. Watermelon Tourmaline is even more powerful.

TOURMILATED QUARTZ – Tourmilated Quartz helps one solve problems. It eliminates destructive patterns in ones life. It also helps work with the masculine and feminine aspects. The Quartz still has all of the aspects of Clear Quartz and the Tourmaline has all of the aspects of Tourmaline.

TURQUOISE – Turquoise brings the blue of Father Sky to Mother Earth and merges it with the energies of the heavens. It is very powerful with the Throat Chakras and works with the High Heart (Thymus Gland).

ULEXITE – Ulexite helps one to solve problems quickly, stimulates the imagination and enhances creativity.

UNAKITE- Unakite works with the Heart Chakra and is powerful in facilitating the re-birthing process. It assists one to facilitate a gentle release of conditions, which have been inhibiting ones growth.

VANADINITE – Vanadinite promotes thrift in spending for those who have overspending tendencies. It promotes order in ones life.

VARISCITE – Variscite connects the ethereal nervous system to the physical nervous system. It works with the Heart Chakra.

WULFENITE – Wulfenite promotes contact with the spiritual world and promotes strong connection between basis structures and higher dimensions.

ZEBRA ROCK – Zebra Rock assists with compassion and understanding of others.

ZINCITE – Zincite works with personal power, physical energy and creativity. It also works with the Chakras according to color.

ZOISITE – Zoisite transmutes negative energies to positive energies. It dispels laziness and idleness. Zoisite with Ruby tends to create altered states of consciousness.

METALS

BRASS - Brass raises the frequency of the wearer; therefore, it makes one feel more energetic.

BRONZE –Bronze lowers the frequency of the wearer; therefore, it makes one feel mellow.

COPPER –Copper is a great conductor of energy. It is brings benefit to the user.

GOLD - Gold represents ultimate value and splendor. It is the symbol of the sun and represents the masculine (yang) energy, which is the outgoing and givingness aspect of our being.

IRON – Iron provides contact with the "fairy kingdom" and favorable influences the outcome of lawsuits and judgments.

PLATINUM – Platinum enhances the accomplishment and completion of goals it works with the Pineal Gland.

SILVER – Silver works as a mirror to the soul. It is symbol of the moon and represents the feminine (yin) energy, which is the inner sensitive creative aspect, our being.

FAIRIES, ANGELS, GODS, GODDESSES AND MASTERS

AMITABHA BUDDHA – Amitabha Buddha is the most ancient among the Dhyani Buddhas. He brings salvation and exhibits boundless light.

ANGELS – Originally, angels were feminine in nature and later also masculine. These are immaterial entities from the heavenly realm.

BHAISAJYA (MEDICINE BUDDHA) – Bhaisajya is the Healing Buddha and is said to dispense spiritual medicine when properly worshipped.

DIPANKAR – Dipankar is the "Enlightener".

DURGA – Durga is a wrathful form of Parvati.

FAIRIES – The Fairy symbolizes the realms beyond the ordinary. They represent elemental beings and the nature of spirit.

GANESH - Ganesh is the Elephant Headed God of Wisdom and Success. He is the defender and the remover of all obstacles. He is one of the sons of Shiva and is also known as the Bestower of Success in the workplace.

GODDESS – This is a representation of the mother within us. There are many different representations of the different goddesses.

HERUKA – The number of deities emanating from the Dhyani Buddha Akshyobhya is quite large. All the emanations of Akshyobhya have a terrible appearance with distorted faces, bare fangs, three blood red eyes, protruding tongue, garlands of severed heads and skulls, tiger skin and ornaments of snakes.

KALI – Kali is a wrathful form of Parvati. She is the goddess of mysteries.

KRISHNA – Krishna is considered to be one of the most important of the gods as the symbol of devotion, love, joy and music.

KUBERA – Kubera is known as the Lord of Wealth and Guardian of the North Direction. According to Hindu Mythology, he is said to have performed austerities for a thousand years in regard for which Brahma gave immortality and made him the God of Wealth and Guardian of All of the Treasures of the Earth.

KWAN YIN – Kwan Yin is the Great Mother Goddess of Mercy and Compassion in Chinese Buddhism.

LAXMI – Laxmi is the goddess of wealth.

SARASWATI – Saraswati is the goddess of Learning and Wisdom. She is also the Goddess of music and poetry. She is generally represented holding the Bina (musical instrument).

SHIVA – Shiva is the destroyer and regenerator. He usually holds a trident and a small drum.

TARA – Tara is the female deity of the Buddhist Pantheon. Tara is believed to protect the human beings while they are crossing the ocean of existence. The two main Taras are the White Tara and the Green Tara. The practice of White Tara is basically to prolong life, as well as for healing purposes. She always has both feet in the full lotus position. Green Tara has one foot in the lotus position and the other foot down. She is always ready and poised to protect.

CHAKRAS

CHAKRAS (Wheel) – Chakra is the symbol of absolute completeness. Chakras are vortexes where life’s energies enter the body. There are hundreds of mini Chakras. Each acupuncture point is actually a mini Chakra. There are 7 major Chakras where the major energy points intersect.

First Chakra (Base Chakra or Root Chakra) is near the base of the Spine. It works with the physical-material plane and physical vitality.

Second Chakra (Sacral Chakra) is below the navel. This is where we store emotions and desire. This is the Creativity center.

Third Chakra (Solar Plexus Chakra) is located in the solar plexus. This is where we store mental energy. This is known as the "seat of the soul".

Fourth Chakra (Heart Chakra) is in the chest at the level of the heart. It is the center of love and compassion.

Fifth Chakra (Throat Chakra) is in the neck above the collarbone. It is the center of expression of creativity and communication.

Sixth Chakra (Third-Eye Chakra or Brow Chakra) is between and slightly above the eyebrows. We see from the physical eyes, but our soul sees from here. This is where we see from our inner vision and intuition.

Seventh Chakra (Crown Chakra) is at the top of the head. This is our gateway to heaven.

COLORS

There are several different color systems that are used. In the Western World. we use the colors of the Rainbow. The Chakras are not actually these colors, but they vibrate at the same frequencies as these colors.

First Chakra – Red

Second Chakra – Orange

Third Chakra – Yellow

Fourth Chakra – Green or Pink

Fifth Chakra – Light Blue

Sixth Chakra – Indigo Blue

Seventh Chakra – Purple

NOTES ON THE ENERGY OF STONES

Perceiving Energy. Energy is how you perceive it. That makes all or any of the systems used regarding the crystals or their use, the colors or the notes right. It is all energy. If you perceive that the stones work in different ways, work with them and experience them for yourself. It is all energy so however you perceive it is right for you. All the authors of all of the books out there on Chakras, energy, stones, and color are the experiences of how the authors perceive the energy. They are all right and so are you.

Choosing a crystal. When you are choosing a crystal, set the ego aside. Ask to be guided to pick the one for your highest and best good. If you are choosing a stone for someone else, just ask to be guided to pick the one for that person’s highest and best good. Pick it by how it feels to you. It is not always the biggest or most expensive or the most clear one. If you pick it by how it feels, you will receive more from the stone than if you pick it by ego.

How to feel the Energy of Stones. Hold the stone in your hand and close your eyes for a few moments. If the stone is in harmony with your vibration, and you are open to it, you should feel something from the stone. You may feel heat, coolness, pulsing, or tingling. Something should tell you that it is a good one for you. Our daughter used to say that it felt like raindrops on her face. Just be open to it. If you are torn between two stones, put one in each hand and ask, "which one is for my highest good?" If you feel more from one than the other, than trade hands and ask the same question again.

Rough vs. Polished vs. Laboratory Grown Crystals. There are many people who only like rough stones because that is their natural state and there are also many people who only like polished stones because they feel it brings out and enhances the energy. There are also people who only like the laboratory grown crystals because of the fastness and pureness of the energy. To us any of those thoughts is limiting. If you choose the stone by how it feels to you, than set the ego aside and don’t worry about the fact that it is rough or polished or lab grown. We use all of these stones and find that when we feel something from them, we don’t care about the rough vs. polished Vs lab grown crystals.

Cleansing a Crystal. There are many ways to cleanse a crystal. For our individual stones, we use our Mind and Breath. Hold the crystal from the top and bottom between the middle or index finger and the thumb with the left hand. Then hold two of the faces between the same fingers of the right hand. (If you don’t see the faces, just make them up. You will get them.) Focus in the Third Eye on cleansing or transforming negativity into love and joy. Pulse your breath sending the energy down to your heart, around and down the arms, and into the crystal. (Remember: Energy follows mind so you can send the thoughts anywhere you direct them.) Snap the crystal gently at the same time as you pulse your breath and send the thought.

In our shop we have many stones to cleanse so we burn sage. We use the intention of cleansing all negativity and transforming it to love and joy. This works great. Note: We also cleanse each other this way.

You can also use sea salt, but be careful because it will pit your jewelry or soft stones. You can also bury the stones in the earth or put it in creeks or the ocean where there is running water. Just don’t leave them there…especially salt water.

Programming a Crystal. Programming a crystal is very similar to the cleansing process using the Mind and Breath. This time the Focus should be on your Intention. Be very clear on the Intention and send that thought into the crystal. Instead of a snapping motion, use a more gentle rocking motion with the crystal. When you want to change the program, just Cleans it and put in a new program.

PRILL PRODUCTS

PRILL BEADS – Prill Beads are a magnesium oxide. Prill water nourishes the complete part of each cell; whereas, common water nourishes only the top part of each cell. You stay much better hydrated when drinking the Precious Prill Water.

LAUNDRY APPLIANCE – The LAUNDRY APPLIANCE was developed to save you money and to really hit the failing environmental water of the world. The Precious Prills were the first truly environmental product offered by Jim Carter, but they simply did not do enough, fast enough. The cost of washing products for the average family in the United States is said to be around $1200.00 a year. Most of those who have used the Laundry Appliance say that it works very well without any detergent, bleach, or fabric softener (a great relief for moms, especially with newborns that are concerned with allergic reactions and residues). If nothing else this is a great way to stop putting so much of these toxins into the ecosystem.

SEA SNOW - SEA SNOW is a pure white substance that comes from seawater. It analyzes as a compound of magnesium, although to my (Jim's) knowledge no one has ever successfully produced magnesium metal from it. It is offered because of its remarkable ability to cleanse tissue. A paste made of the Sea Snow and Precious Prill Water or better still Magic Water will remove toxic substance from deep in your body; right through your skin with no disruption. This mixture has been used by lots of people as a cleaning procedure for the face and everyone loves it. Wash it off after it dries.

CUPCAKE- The CUPCAKE is a much more compacted higher resoluted form of the Precious Prills. The Cupcake is the basis for the creation of Magic Water as well as, the main component of the internal structure of the Shower Converter.

SHOWER CONVERTER – The Shower Converter, like the Laundry Appliance, is a high volume producer of Precious Prill water that both serves the person using it and dynamically improves the quality of the water in the home, community and eventually the world.

DOLLOP OF LOVE was the giant step. The DOL was as much magnesium as one would get from the best multiple vitamins in the world in FIVE years, in a form that simply mixed with the bathing habits of everyone. The DOL as it has become known mixes with shampoos, conditioners, or body lotions in any desired proportion. It can also be used instead of any of these preparations. Now I (Jim) had the perfect product to help "mom" put the magnesium that her children needed right into their norm

MAGIC WATER has no natural analogue. It is the liquid found in the fluid of living organisms and has the ability to take on many different characteristics, as this organism needs. Magic Water is offered in bottles for spraying directly on the skin and to be used as a small addition to common water to give a result similar to Precious Prill Water. A couple of sprays in a litre bottle will do the trick. It is an instantaneous and excellent moisturizer, like Precious Prill water and at the same time it provides the liquid phases that are critical to maintenance and regeneration of cells throughout the body.
