Cleaning Ink Out After Printing

* Scrape the unused ink out of the screen and place it back into the ink container.
* Place screen on top of newsprint, newspaper, or paper towels.
* Pour screen wash (solvent) and scrub in a circular motion, forcing the ink and solvent through your screen and onto your newsprint.
* Replace newsprint 2-3 times and repeat cleaning.
* When the screen looks 90-95% clean, turn the screen over and LIGHTLY wipe the back of the screen with a clean rag saturated with solvent.
* Never clean or scrub the print side of the screen, only wipe lightly!
* Screen must be completely dry of solvent before printing starts.
*Screen must be clean of all wet ink before a new stencil is started.
* Screen opener (spray or aerosol/ bottle or can) is designed to be used with solvent based inks that have dried in the stencil during printing.  It is fast drying, quickly dissolves of ink and removes ink without leaving a greasy residue.
* Do not use screen opener to clean the screen after printing, use proper solvent with the ink you are using.
