How to use the RASTofC
If you’re a subscriber to CNW Research’s monthly newsletter Retail Automotive Summary: Pulse and Stat editions, this handy document is for you. The RASTofC stands for Retail Automotive Summary Table of Contents. It opens in Excel.
You can search past issues by keyword or phrase. Once the document opens, simply type: Control+F, enter the word or phrase you are looking for and the issue pops up with the month, year, article title and lead in sentence.
If you would like back issues sent to you, please contact the RAS help desk, mailroom@cnwmr.com.
Include the issue month/year and we will send it as quickly as possible.
Why Open Doesn't Always Work
'Save' not 'Open'
For now, CNWbyWEB is limited to ‘Saving’ files only. As we update the website, we will be adding the Microsoft SSL certificate to each document link which will allow users to ‘Open’ the document in their web browser. So at this time, please click Save when clicking on a link to view a file.
Note: Some documents are able to be ‘Opened,’ and those include the files listed on the Monthly tab under “m” docs. More will be coming shortly.
How to best use Search.
Search Results
To best use the search field results, right click an article and select 'Open in a New Tab.' This way you will not lose the search results. Once you find the document you were looking for, close the extra tabs you've opened and you'll have saved some time searching for documents.
This will work in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
