Charles Neal Selections

-
Charles Neal Selections :
Charles Neal is an importer based in San Francisco, California who distributes estate-bottled wines from appellations in France.
While Charles Neal Selections deals with wonderful wines from nearly all the French wine regions, his specialties include the Southwestern part of the country (the Pyrenees) and the Eastern part of the country (the Alps). These lost regions of France contain relatively unknown appellations like Madiran, Cahors, Jurançon, Gaillac, Côtes du Frontonnais, Marcillac, and Béarn, as well as the unheralded Alpine crus of Chignin, Arbin, Apremont, Ripaille and Marestel.

Chateau Beaulieu

-
Named after the Château situated on the 300-hectare estate, Beaulieu literally translates to “nice location.” Founded as a stronghold by Henri III in 1576, it successively belonged to all the great noble families of Provence, who took great care to preserve this exceptional property.
The vast 300-hectare estate is the largest in the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation of southeastern France, 180 of which are under vine. Truffle oak and almond trees are also farmed on the property.
Located in the heart of a dormant volcano, La Trévaresse, in the town of Rognes, the vines of Château Beaulieu benefit from the unique composition and diverse range of the soils.
In continuing with tradition, from the vineyard management to the winemaking, every effort is made to create fruity, supple and aromatic wines that faithfully reflect the terroir.
