The Acoma Pueblo Indian Culture
Legend tells us, that in the old days, gold diggers were searching for a Bonanza of Huaka, but none of the golddiggers and Gambusinos ever found that fabled Bonanza with all its riches. Huaka is an Acoma word and means sky or heaven. The old spanish Padres who propagated the myth, meant Heaven, the salvation of the souls and not earthly riches, as many of the Gambusinos thought they would find , by searching for the Bonanza de Huaka.

The Company's mission is to bring Acoma pottery and other indigenious arts and crafts to the public at large, so people from Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and the rest of world can understand, the rich heritage of the Acoma people.
