Adult Maintainance Program The de la Houssaye Animal Hospital recommends: 1. Bi-annual (twice a year) health exams. 2. Yearly intestinal worm checks. 3. Yearly heartworm occult checks. 4. Yearly vaccinations. 5. Yearly dental examinations and dental scaling with polishing. 6. Periodic blood testing/urinalysis/EKG based on age and condition of pet. 7. Health problems and concerns will be discussed at these annual visits with recommendations. The de la Houssaye Animal Hospital and its staff believe that routine preventative care will and has definitively proven to improve the quality of life for your pet as well as help them live longer lives.
