There was once a place, with incredible grace, which needed a facelift or two. The work is half-done, but sure will be done, in 6 months, a year or two

The old Abode took a beating, from not being lived in. Some of the walls were peeling, from the leakage within.

5 years is a long time, for the soul of a house, to be deprived of companions, except that of a mouse.

This is the wing we decided to add to a house already standing and aren't we glad .

The poet in this picture, is a man named Jim

His work is a poem, all the way down to the trim.

The simple lines of a structure well done,  will improve the old abode under New Mexico's sun.

On the Road again.............

We call him Nephew, and he helps us to make the long haul, fully loaded from the Bay Area to Kingman, Arizona (the first day 600 miles) From there it is only a hop to the old homestead east of Grants, New Mexico (400 miles only)
