This section highlights our current Appaloosa mares. We carefully select our mares from among the finest available Foundation-bred Appaloosas. Each mare is evaluated based on how we feel her conformation, abilities, overall quality and pedigree will contribute to the goals of our breeding program. You can find expected foaling dates for our mares by going to the Breeding Schedules section. The calendar will be updated in February with the expected 2006 foaling dates.

Current Mares North Star Rebel North Star Rebel is a 1996 mare by the fewspot stallion Zorro's Brightdrifter and Bright Revelry. She stands ~14.2 H. Rebel is lively, agile and fun to ride. She has the Indian Shuffle gait and uses it at a variety of speeds. Rebel has not had a lot of time on the trail, but none the less, she has proven to be a good riding horse with the potential to excel at team penning or games. Rebel is a fifth generation product of all Appaloosa to Appaloosa breeding. Her first foal is our mare NorthStar Gidget.
