Enter your message here. A friend and I are just getting in breeding appaloosa here in new zealand,so far we have three mares. We are hoping to import foundation stock semen into nz and upgraded our breeding stock. We are hoping to get a line black based. My friend dreams of a black blanketed appaloosa running around his paddock.Would any of you know which of the many bloodlines you have, would be the better one for us to start with. Our mares all are outcrossed with either quater horse or thoroughbred blood 2rd or 3rd generation but we are hoping to pick up a black filly who is outcrossed 4th generation back so she will be graded C here and with 100% pure foundation semen we will be able to bred a B grade and then hope for another filly and cross her with foundation semen and get the first A grade appaloosa here in nz. At the persent the highest grade we have is B and was imported from the USA. The woman that brought them in is keeping her stock and not let them outcross with the local population. We want to have the height no more than 15.1hh and black with blanket but if the blanket is asking too much just to get that black base colour that isn't going to roan out to a white horse with varnish marks. As we seem to have alot of this type here already. If there is information that could help us in our dream please let me know and I will check it out. Do you ship semen? I think your stallion is just the most elgant creature I have seen in a long time. His foals are lovely also. Keep up th good work.
