I find that the best gaiters are of the pure Nez Perce Appaloosa breed , most commonly found in the Ulrich lines. I have a Nez Perce stallion and every foal so far is gaited. I have only bred him to Appaloosa mares and will not brred any other breeds to him as I try to promote the true Appaloosa. So Far all are gaited. I hope this information helps !
